Boxtown is our ministry – “Feeding the Hungry One Soul at a Time.” It has been since Christmas of 2002. On the second Saturday of each month (or late Friday when freezing cold), we trek to the lower east side of Dallas to reach the forgotten. Armed with warm McDonald’s biscuits (or hamburgers) and a cool drink, our prayer is to let Jesus guide our hands, make friends, and share the Light.
If there is one thing I’ve learned from my buddy’s triathlon team (Tri-Prosoap), it’s that you must train. In ministry, we must train our hearts. So we keep going and going and going. Events are now scheduled through the Facebook group. [click here for details]
